- Take a break! That's right - we encourage it. When you feel the need to clear your head, you should get up and pour yourself a cup of water or coffee, take the time to listen to some music, or stand up and stretch your legs for a few minutes. By the time you get back to working, you will have a fresh and improved perspective!
- Tackle your most difficult tasks first-thing, like in the morning, if possible. You can get them out of the way and make room for easier items on your agenda in the afternoon. Getting these done earlier in the workday can also make things less stressful for you by the day's end.
- Organize and decorate your space! If you are spending a lot of time searching for things, take a minute to sort your supplies and documents how you like them. If you are not happy with perhaps a bland workspace, purchase or bring several decorations from home to liven things up, like a bobblehead! This will not only save you a lot of time and frustration, but it will keep you happy throughout the day.
